And who I look like now...(poor folks)



My, What a difference 5 years (and a number of pounds) makes! Kate Winslet would probably turn over in her grave if she only knew. Oh wait, she's not dead...Oh well...

Daughter be of good comfort...

Most of the things you think about yourself (especially the negative things) are severly exaggerated in your mind.

And the beauty that a saint (like yourself) has on the inside quadtriply makes up for any inkling of bad that might be noticed on the outside.

Just be glad you didn't resemble Mick Jagger.

You know, I actually wrote a song along those lines, it's not quite finished, and I might be too chicken to sing it anyway, but it's called "perfect in your eyes". Part of the chorus says "Why should I reach for all these other things that will never satisfy, when you have made me perfect, God you have made me perfect in your eyes." It is definitely much better to be perfect in God's eyes than to try your hardest to make ol' #1 look nice, just to satisfy your flesh! And Brother...just be glad you don't resemble Mick Jagger, either.
