Here is a warning about a movie called the Golden Compass that will be coming out this Christmas. I know we don't have to worry about that, but this is also a series of children's books. Such a shame.

My apologies to Sister Jimmie Ann, Bro. Gilbert and others who have threatened to beat me with rods for not updating-those who have told me their lives are not the same without being able to read my blog-those who have told me that they will jump in front of the next blue Hummer they see if I don't wr...sorry about that, I've been reading too much Love Inspired Suspense.

Well, things are going beautifully here at the HannersHome, nothing to complain about. We've been to campmeeting and enjoyed it much, thought we forgot to bring the first piece of equipment to record any memories on. oh well.

I've been in the fall mood here lately-all these nice breezes sort of does it to me. Christina will be coming over for lunch next week, so I was looking for something different to cook and give the hired help a day off. I found a GREAT recipe for pumpkin tortellini with brown butter sauce. After reading the ingredients ( such as goat cheese, figs, snapping turtle fillet, finely minced fishhooks) to a couple of friends, I knew I was going to have to call Sylvia for any excitement and/or appreciation that I would get. I'll have to let you know how this lunch turns out.
