I've definitely had episodes similar to this. (Thankfully most of those days are behind us now!)
It only occurred to me a few years ago that's where this verse comes in:
Pro 29:15 "...but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame." Apparently I needed to watch them a little closer those days! :)
Brooke said "oooh that baby doll is ugly. She has oreos all over her."
I told her it was not a baby doll, and she just can't believe it. LOL
