#1 Sandwich

You know, Actually I have a MUCH better way to use pickles...make a lovely sandwich that is a favorite bedtime snack of mine. This sandwich includes the requisite 2 soft fluffy pieces of white bread, pickles, peanut butter, cheese and mayo. The only problem with this is that when I try to eat one with anyone around, I have to listen to...EEEEWWWWWW! GROOOSSS! How NASTY!, etc... Now tonight I've been listening to my beautiful daughter, Erin, go on about it. I think I'll make her have one for lunch tomorrow, along with my favorite soup......

EEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWW YUCK!!!
That sounds really gross. I think I could handle it if it did not have the peanut butter on it.

When we were away in WV last month, my father-in-law asked his mom to make him a pickle and peanut butter sandwich. I SO thought he was kidding.

But he wasn't.

Your's definately tops the "Ew" list, but seeing as how I wouldn't try it, it's no big deal for me if you wanna eat it.

Now, I HAVE tried peanut butter and banana WITH mayonaise.....talk about disgusting! How to ruin a perfectly good sandwich with mayo! Ack!

The worst thing I ever put together (even though I thought it was great), was spanish olives and applesauce. It was a pregnancy thing, but I still like it when I'm in the mood.

*blech* Does sound gross to say the least, but if you wanna eat it & are happy with it - I just won't look at you doing it! LOL
Weird things that people eat? Well to tell you the truth, the first time I ever saw someone realted to the bubbling brooke put a banana on a PB sandwich I about hurled. I'm from MI and I had NEVER heard of such a sandwich which it seems the whole south finds delectable. To this day I cannot put it on the same level & eat it. I can have a PB sandwich in one hand and then hold the Nanner in the other and alternate bites, but to actually put them on bread together, ugh. Now I had a husband that could top the charts on weird foods. Mayo & cottage cheese. Ate raw hamburger meat with a dash of salt. Dipped his dinner rolls in his tea.....ewwe NOW THAT IS gross.

JAYLENE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WITH A BLOG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOW ABSOLUTELY SPLENDID!!!!!!!

Okay...hmmm, it sounds like something I would at least TRY. So next time I'm up that way, I'll let you make me one. How 'bout that? LOL

I don't really eat many weird things...I'm not good about trying NEW things, even. In FACT, the weirdest thing I probably eat....is shredded parmasan cheese, or in the bottle....just open it up and dump it in my mouth. LOVE IT! Years ago, when living in Florida, I probably would've said "EWWWWW, gross!" about tomato sandwiches too. But I love them now. I love all the ingredients in your sandwich except the mayo...although I use it in tuna sanwiches and on my tomato sandwiches...just a WEE little bit.

Hey! I just want to say...

EWWWWWWWWWW! That does sound yuck! But, whatever floats your boat as long as you don't put too much mayo...:D Some people think that I'm weird, but I discovered as a child that I LOVED hot french fried dipped in vanilla milkshake. My grandmother still gets me that sometimes. :) You should try it.~

My mom used to make a peanut butter sandwich with brown sugar sprinkled on it, then mustard, and onion.

She made it seem so good that I tasted it and liked it myself.

But then I can come up with some pretty strange concoctions of my own.
